Our group of 5 went to the 'Big' Mrs Mac's kitchen for dinner tonight. Between 3-6 is happy hour where margaritas are buy one get one free. It's 2 extra for a strawberry instead of a classic. They were delicious though!! Everyone in our party was very happy with our meals. We had... A reuben with shoestring fries, fried shrimp with cottage fries, penne alfredo with blackened chicken, a patty melt with a baked potato and a fried fish and shrimp plate with cottage fries. Everything was delicious! Then we split 2 pieces of peanut butter pie, which you should try also because it's so good!! Katelyn was our service person. She was very nice and friendly, an asset to their team. I would highly recommend going there! Mrs Mac's was so good we went there again during our stay in Key Largo! Once again the food and service was great!
I’m a South Florida Resident, i’ve passed by this place hundreds of times all my life. But today, I finally had the pleasure of stopping by. We ordered some Conch Fritters and Gator Bites to-go and they HIT THE SPOT! Delicious! Wish i would’ve eaten here sooner.
Must eat here!! Price is great for all the food you get! I had the snapper fish tacos and they were filling, beautiful and the best I’ve ever had! My husband got the whole snapper and it had no bones in it at all and was devoured by my hungry husband! Our server McKenzie made us feel like family! Clean, adorably decorated and all around one of the best restaurants we have ever been to! We will absolutely be back! Kid friendly too! McKenzie even held the door for my disabled mother as we left and literally took care of us from the second we got there until the second we left. Kudos to the owner, amazing staff and the amazing chef!!!
Had breakfast at the small Mrs Mac’s. Had to try dinner here. And it was beyond delicious. I ordered the blue cheese burger and it was perfect, my husband ordered the loaded fries with special ranch sauce and it was very very delicious! My parents ordered fish tacos and said they were the best. Highly recommend
Usually very popular tourist places are just popular because of social media, not because they necessarily are good. This restaurant proves different. The food is amazing, and this is one of the rare restaurant which has not cranked their prices through the roof. Portions are massive, and the quality is absolutely amazing. If you are ever in Key Largo, skip on the overpriced bayside restaurants, and head straight to Mac's Kitchen!
Stopped for lunch. Conch chowder, onion rings which will kill you, fish & hamburger - great dinner food. The key lime pie is the real deal. We would recommend for anyone visiting Key Largo to stop for food. The place has real atmosphere - a five calendar kind of place if you are a Blue Highways fan.
Good variety on the menu in case you have someone who doesn't like fish. Very beachy atmosphere, attentive service and generous portions. I had the Mahi & Shrimp basket and it was very good. The Key lime Margarita was delish! They do have a happy hour.
If you are in the Keys this restaurant is a MUST. Beachy environment with neat tables decorated with antique nautical artifacts. Our food was beyond delicious. Fresh and well made. Our server Daniella was one the ball. She was friendly and personable. Got everything right and was able to help us choose the perfect meal for us. Would highly recommend coming. Will be going back!
